There is something about a crisp cool morning, that refreshes me & puts me at peace. The sky is bright with limitless blue stretching from horizon to heaven. The rise of the sun cuts in from the east laying a sharp tone of orange. The earth rejoices with the colors, showing off how they fit into frame. The evergreens pop. The chocolate-brown ground hug the sun’s rays. The death of autumn is paused & rewound. The grace of life is new each morning. But within a few brief hours, clouds of midday rain or afternoon snow march in. The sun matures out of playful adolescence, moving onto bigger & better things. The beauty of the morning passes.
